One of the basic instincts of life is to want to reach out and communicate with others. And there's no where this is more true than with the message of God's love and His saving power in Jesus Christ. For any of us to want to share our personal tesimony of God's love, should be an inspiration throughout our lives.
And so it is with the congregation of God's people who want to shine their light into the darkness of this broken world, and release the healing power of God to set people free. Missions and outreach are a normal way of life for a healthy church. It's not an extreme expression of the Gospel, but a normal, simple expression of His power and His love to help hurting people.
